Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi meminta setiap individu menggali segala &#13;
sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki, sumber daya manusia ini merupakan peran &#13;
penting bagi suatu organisasi, dengan kualitas sumber daya manusia akan &#13;
menentukan kompetitif organisasi itu sendiri. Lingkungan kerja yang kondusif &#13;
dapat dipengaruhi oleh kepemimpinan yang benar. Suatu organisasi sering sekali &#13;
mengalami turun naik dalam melakukan tugasnya, maka motivasi sebagai kesiapan &#13;
seseorang untuk melakukan serangkaian kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk mencapai &#13;
beberapa tujuan yang telah diatur. Kinerja merupakan hasil seseorang atau &#13;
sekumpulan orang-orang yang dicapai dalam suatu organisasi sesuai wewenang &#13;
dan tanggung jawab masing-masing. Sebagai instansi pemerintahan Dinas &#13;
Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Bandung Barat sudah menerapkan &#13;
kepemimpinan dan memberikan motivasi kerja, tetapi kinerja karyawan belum &#13;
menunjukan peningkatan yang signifikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk &#13;
mengetahui seberapa besar kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja sebagai pengaruh &#13;
terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Dinas Perindutrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten &#13;
Bandung Barat. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif&#13;
deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan jumlah sampel 147 responden dengan teknik &#13;
pengambilan sampel insidental. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara &#13;
parsial kepemimpinan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dan motivasi kerja &#13;
tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sehingga secara simultan &#13;
kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan pada &#13;
Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Bandung Barat&#13;

Bandung Regency&#13;
The rapid development of technology asks each individual to explore all human &#13;
resources owned, this human resource is an important role for an organization, &#13;
with the quality of human resources will determine the competitiveness of the &#13;
organization itself. A conducive work environment can be affected by correct &#13;
leadership. An organization often experiences ups and downs in doing its tasks, &#13;
hence motivation as a person's readiness to do a series of activities aimed at &#13;
achieving some of the goals that have been set. Performance is the result of a &#13;
person or set of people who are achieved in an organization according to their &#13;
respective authorities and responsibilities. As a government agency, the West &#13;
Bandung District Industry and Trade Office has implemented leadership and &#13;
provided work motivation, but employee performance has not shown significant &#13;
improvement. The purpose of this study was to find out how much leadership and &#13;
motivation work as an influence on employee performance in the Perindutrian and &#13;
Trade Office of West Bandung Regency. The methods in this study used descriptive &#13;
and verifiative quantitative methods with a sample number of 147 respondents with &#13;
incidental sampling techniques. The results of this study showed that partially &#13;
leadership affects employee performance and work motivation has no effect on &#13;
employee performance. So that simultaneously leadership and work motivation &#13;
affect the performance of employees in the West Bandung District Industry and &#13;
Trade Office.</note>
